  Your final WTF? Moment!

  it was a long time coming for me.....when i read about the extened generations, after being raised on1914 being the be all end all, and millions would never die....that was the end.

  i was part of the 1975 fiasco, the 6 month only truth book studies, suffered through a disifellowshipping and their version of a rewind.

  i finally am free and hope others can eventually look in instead of inside looking out!

  2. The 1998 summer assembly resolution. Thousands of people answering YES to some bs read op from the platform. That was my final WTF.

  Does anyone remember the article which mentioned that many non-jws would survive armageddon?

  i seem to think it was a november wt issue but can't remember precisely, but it was probably printed within the last three years.

  after being told for years and years that everyone not a jw would be destroyed, this was amazing to see in print!

  yet when i pointed it out to others, they just shrugged it off and left me wondering what i was missing.... does this ring a bell with anyone?.

  what can a person do who is stuck in the watchtower cult movement but don't want to be shunned or disfellowshipped but want to follow a course of passive resistants, like ghandi did to the brits to get them out of control over india?.

  Need advice for asking a girl out

  well long story short, i've been meaning to ask this girl at school out for a while but i can never do it because her friends are always there in the way and i would prefer to ask her in person.

  we've liked each other for a while (i was oblivious until about a month or two ago) and i'm also i bit worried she'll get tired of waiting.. i was just wondering if anyone had any advice or something that they could give me.

  Furuli was definetly travelling in the 70-s.

  He is a very good speaker. One of the few not boring speakers. And yes he is friendly. A litle shy, but friendly.

  Furuli er very much pro education himself. Some years ago he bragged in the newspaper about all the young ones in his congregation who where getting higher education, when asked about the society's view on education.

  how could rolf furuli be an elder considering his secular background?.

  a friend from norway said he is the service overseer in his congregation.

  does anyone have any info to validate this claim?.

  Furuli used to be an elder in Majorstuen congregation in Oslo. The latest inforation i've got is that he has moved to Sandefjord og small town 120 km southwest of Oslo.

  He is definetliy a higly regarded elder. A guru for many JWs in Norway.

  i just stumbled over the october issue of our kingdom ministry in norwegian.. the service report numbers are no longer printed.

  why not?

  and do they still print the numbers in your language?.
